There's nothing more enjoyable for my family than camping out in the most remote areas, but we always bring technology

I want to stress this piece of information from the start: we are a camping family as well as a real outdoor family. We spend as much time with nature as we can. We have dogs, cats and we bring them along. We are one happy camping family. We know the place we're in and how it came to be there. We also know how to have a few hours on TV with each other. We don't want our little vices and leave the house without entertainment or music. We insist on having an electric generator and an 32" screen and a nice but not overly large 32" TV.. We are often told that we're nomadic without any land to call home. We live in Seattle and our father works as a lawyer for a shady firm. Mother states that dad likes to camp four times a month to get rid of dirt.. However, I believe that forests are the best and most convenient place to do this.

As we sit around the fire and sing, we play games and talk to each other while our cats are living their lives within the area. It's amazing how they recognize when it is time to leave. Plus we have Joiner He is a hunter helper dog. He finds our cats quickly when we come back. They don't even lose weight and are loving it there without us.. Perhaps others in the camp feed them, or they take food away from them or even go after rodents and other small creatures, who knows.


While we love our phones and tablets when we are around the campfires, it's not something we are against. We are tech-savvy and don't care being lost even on camping excursions. He doesn't care anyhow, even when he turns off his cell phone for two days. It's a way for him to relax. After a day of hunting and fishing we enjoy a large dinner in the forest. We watch TV or play music and videos that we downloaded from the internet before leaving. We can rarely get Internet in the forest, therefore our parents might not mind us talking on the phone. But sooner or later, we'll be out of games and emails that we can reply to, and we're back in conversation. youtube mp 3 We usually save videos to YouTube clip converters or other video downloading websites before going on vacations. Of course, HULU with its download capabilities is a huge help, as it lets us watch hours of shows and movies downloaded and copied to our laptops prior to the trip. Series and movies are excellent to watch during campouts. They are also easy to get there. Three hours in a camper are boring. My father loves this kind of time. He is able to focus on the road, plus this massive machine is tough to handle, so the driver must be able to concentrate on the road..

We'll continue to use GPS when we go camping. It is crucial to be able to determine where you are and to find ways to return to civilization in an emergency. Although we have not had any major incidents during our journeys thus far, we have read about stories of snow avalanches and dirt that could occasionally ruin people's vacations. GPS will always guide you to safety so long as it is safe to do so. Friendly satellites will guide GPS in the right direction. We rely on another piece of technology to get our safety to and from our campsite.. In an emergency, a helicopter can fly over you and zoom into the GPS position. There are many more reasons to have GPS at hand for any trip that requires a remote location. It's important to remember technology is vital to your daily life.
