Take your laptop, tablet and, sometimes, your phone with you camping with your children.

This is something I have learned by trial and error. My mother has been with me the entire week instructing me to plan and to remember this. I just shared with her my excitement over taking my first camping trip with my children as well as her grandkids. And she was all over my preparations exhaling and puffing out advice and instructions on every possible situation. I am not averse to my mom's talking. But watching her lecture can make things uncomfortable. So I tried to wrap it all up faster than I should. And that was a big mistake, as I've figured out the next day... or two..

We left with our car to drive the car all up to the campsite. I was determined to recreate the rustic experience that my father had was, so I picked a remote location that turned out be in a massive zone that was not accessible to service. Our phones were not functioning, so we were left with no other campers. It's not a problem, I was expecting an amazing time off work for three days in the wilderness, with nature.. But we returned to our vehicles returning home just 24 hours after our camping trip began.

What did you do? We had no Internet and no bars, nothing. I carried my laptop with me but it couldn't get into the bag. I had a gorgeous background to display the trees. All they wanted was to check their email, check their texts and school issues, etc. I was sick of it and packed the car for the return trip. My children were sounding identical to pigs eating tasty food items after we left the area without wifi. https://keepvid.wf Seriously... Don't be fooled I love my children.. However, it was quite embarrassing. They groaned and squealed as their phones began to beep to signal incoming text messages.

Since then, I've learned to be more prepared and not to get stuck in an area that is internet-free with no roaming. We took a long boat trip towards the destination. This time, I needed to bring my best companions, two tablets and a laptop. The laptop contained every music video and music I downloaded from Hulu, Netflix, and other apps. I have about 600 hours of content to enjoy, which includes all of the South Park, Friends, and Will & Grace seasons.

For my kids, I have a lof of videos of amusing things. https://keepvid.wf/ I downloaded a few music videos from Youtube and then converted them into mp3 and mp4 format to watch or listen. This app on the web allows me to download video directly to my computer. I can then watch videos offline at any time I need electricity. I DVR many shows, films and online seminar. I save these videos in mp4 format onto my laptop. I afterwards play them using VLC as well as KMP or any other player that supports 4K.


Another thing I insist on is 4k. Have you ever seen anything like it? Video is crystal clear and incredible. I would highly recommend it. Televisions with 4K picture support come with an amazing software that enhances and process the image. The TV can transform old video into something so much more. Everyone will enjoy it!
