Glumbumble adalah sejenis serangga yang berasal dari Eropa bagian utara. Mereka dapat Terbang, ciri-cirinya berwarna abu-abu, dan berbulu. Serangga ini menghasilkan suatu zat yang disebut Treacle. Treacle digunakan sebagai obat penenang untuk efek histeris yang dikarenakan memakan daun Alihotsy. Alihotsy adalah pohon magis. Daunnya dapat menyebabkan histeeia dan tertawa yang tidak dapat terkontrol, tetesan yang di keluarkan Glumbumble berperan sebagai penawar dari daun ini.
Sarang Glumbumble berada di daerah yang gelap dan susah ditemukan. Mereka tipe makhluk yang penyendiri. Glumbumble memakan jelatang, atau sejenis kutu. Dan mereka senang juga tinggal didalam sarang lebah, namun akibatnya adalah madu yang dihasilkan dari lebah itu dapat rusak. Karena Glumbumble termasuk parasit.
Dibuku "fantastic beast and where to find them" milik harry, kata "glumbumble" pada huruf "b,u, dan m" dilingkari oleh harry karena "bum" artinya hidup berkeluyuran/gelandangan.
