Despite the consultation and preparation by animal control officers, a venomous zebra cobra was captured on Wednesday night by a glue trap, a 48-hour incident that generated nationwide interest.
It was taken to a safer location to be fully cleaned after it was guided into the bucket and guided out.
An earlier image captured by WRAL show the snake scrabbling to the front porch of a house on Sandringham Drive, crawling through the siding. In looking around, the hood of the vulture was visible.
After confirming it was a snake, Animal Control officers moved the camera crews back of the area and attempted to capture it there.
On Tuesday, police searched the same home after receiving a 911 call there.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. Following hours of consultation and preparation by police and animal control officers, a venomous zebra cobra was captured with a glue trap on a north Raleigh porch Wednesday night, coming to an end in North Carolina after nearly 48 hours of turmoil.
Cobra was placed in red bucket and moved to a safe location to fully remove glue from its body.
At youtube.com, a striped snake crawled out of the siding of a house on Sandringham Drive onto the front porch of a home earlier in the day. Looking around, its hood was visible as it lifted its head.
When Animal Control officers confirmed the snake was the one they moved camera crews back before they attempted to catch it.
Searches were launched early Tuesday after the same home made a 911 call.

It was a relief to neighbor Joan Nelson to have the ordeal over.
'I feel very safe now,' she said. Getting outside on my deck or stepping out on my deck gives me a sense of freedom. Despite this, I feel sorry for the snake.
The snake in question was found laying out on a porch in a north Raleigh neighborhood where a zebra cobra had been reported missing.
Even a morning dog walk can prove dangerous for this snake, a zebra cobra that can spit up to nine feet. The African Snakebite Institute states that the snake is very dangerous. As a result of the venom, a victim's nervous system could shut down.
Cobra poison causes immediate pain, swelling, irritation, vomiting, and diarrhea. Following a heavy fever and breathing problems, you might lose your breath and may die.
Dr. Salina Locke, a veterinarian with Avian and Exotic Animal Care, treats an array of animals.
The cobras in this species are not typically biting. Generally, they squirt their venom a lot and shoot straight for the eyes, she said.
Due to its dangers, Locke advises against keeping this snake as a pet.
The majority of bites occur during sleep. Bite victims may suffer health problems for years, research reveals.
In the afternoon of Tuesday, police searched a home near the street where the cobra was last spotted, at 6917 Chamonix Place.
In March, police visited the home four times because of an animal problem. The zebra cobra was spotted on a porch a half mile away on Monday and Tuesday.
The records of county government indicate that Keith and Rebecca Gifford reside at this address. According to a Facebook account linked to Keith Gifford's name, he has several photos of snakes he claims to own with his son, Christopher.
TikTok user Christopher Gifford has more than 460000 followers. He says he has a 7-foot-long zebra cobra on one of his posts.
