Kids cars are not just for young boys who love cars. My wife was telling me about an electric kids car that she had as a child. I always wanted the electric version, I guess she was more spoiled than I was. Kids cars are for young boys and girl who want to be able to play without having to ride a large bike.

However, you can consider few things before buying it. The most important thing is to decide where exactly you will run your radio controlled car - on road or off the road? The on road cars would usually run smooth on the roads, but definitely not on stones, grass or hills. For that purpose, you will have to buy the off road version.

Advertise your car. If you're not satisfied with the offers from the salvage yards, you may be able to make more money by selling it directly. You can advertise on Craigslist or some other website, giving details about your car. Include photos and be honest about the car's condition. Put down an asking prices such as $500 or OBO for "or best offer" and wait for people to contact you. One man's junk is another man's treasure -- you could be holding a classic that would be worth a mint once it has been restored.

Do not bid on a parcel that sits next to a junkyard; noise, dust, stench, environment waste, etc. will all be waiting for you if you win this gem! Good luck selling it!!!

It is best to call your mechanic and discuss these things with him. Ask him to repair the basic parts as car dismantling companies always check the basic parts of the car before buying.

On the secondhand cars, the depreciation is lower and this is because the original price of the car itself factors in major dip in price. There are cars that are hardly a year old which would cost very less as compared to a brand new car of similar make and model. So you trade off on the car design year for handsome savings.
