Given the speed with which technology changes, how do organizations stay up to date with the technological shifts?

There are about 1.35 million tech start-ups around the world and the technology is developing at a very fast pace; to cope up and stay up to date with it is another challenge that is being faced by organizations. But it is very important for an organization to keep up with the changing technological trends in order to stay ahead of the competitors, improve its customer’s experience and increase the profit percentage. Some of the organizations take the following steps to stay current with the changing technology.

Developing an IT strategy and planning ahead- Organizations develop an IT strategy to define their next 5 years of technological upgrades. The strategy development teams assess the upcoming technological needs and evaluate the available resources to fulfill these needs. Once a strategy is defined it is easier to find a solution and manage it.
Constant Upgrades- The organizations update their systems on regular basis and some of them set their systems to auto software updates. They determine the best way to automate the updates so that they do not fall behind and use dated versions of the software.
On the other hand, certain organizations do not follow these criteria, they are the ones that set the upper limit by inventing new technological things. For example- Tesla and Lucid are setting limits in the automobile industry. These are the two auto car industries that have taken the electric car industry to the whole next level.
