Camping in remote areas is the ideal option for my family. However, we always have technology with us.

I would like to emphasize this piece of information from the start: we are a family who camp and a true outdoor family. We spend as much time with nature as we can. We have cats, pets, as well as dogs. They are our joyful campers throughout the day. However, we are always conscious of how and when we came to be here. Additionally, we are aware of where we can find water. We're not ready to abandon our vices or leave home without entertainment. We insist on bringing the generator and 32 inches of screen. A lot of people think we're wandering nomads. We definitely spend hours at the fire, we talk about songs, sing and play games around the campfire, as our cats, who are very independent, are out and about in the area.. It's funny that they will always return to us to do the going home part. Joiner is our dog who hunts and helps us. He finds our kitties quickly when we return. They're not losing weight and they are loving it.


Although we love our smartphones and tablets at campfires, we also enjoy technology. Even for camping trips we will never stop to utilize our devices. Our father isn't averse to the technology, he will turn off his mobile for two days. It allows him to relax according to him. After a tiring day of fishing and hunting and catching, we take a large lunch in the forest. We then sit down to watch the TV, videos, and other shows that we downloaded prior to the trip. The majority of the time, we cannot get any Internet in the forest which is the main reason our parents don't have a problem with calling us and eventually we'll run out of games and saved emails to respond, and get back into conversation. Before trip we usually download videos using a Youtube clip converter or some other site for downloading videos. HULU, with its many download options, is a wonderful tool to enjoy hours of movies and shows copied onto our laptops prior departure. Of course, videos and shows are not only good in downtime during camp trips however they are also extremely useful for getting there, as 3hr long journeys in the camper often aren't very enjoyable. My dad is a big fan of this type of. He is focused on his road, and needs to be able to handle the huge machine.

Another thing that we will not let go of is GPS. Knowing where you are , and the best way to get back to civilization is vital in times of need. Although nothing has happened to us on our trip however, we have seen reports of people suffering from snow and avalanches. GPS will always show where you can go for safety, as long as you know where safety may be found. Friendly satellites will direct GPS in the right direction. We rely on another piece of technology to get us safely to and from our camping spot.. If there is a medical emergency a helicopter can come to you and zoom in on your GPS recorded location. It's not just important to be equipped with GPS for travel away. You should not ignore technology that is vital for your daily life.
