Backing Tracks to produce Your Show More Professional
The use of Music backing tracks isn't only for karaoke singers however for performing artists too. If you are in a band of any sort this information is for you to help take the act one stage further. Especially if you're performing in some sort of tribute act or cover band.

For years I've been singing and playing in various rock bands but for the greater part happen to be very well received in front of audiences. Until not too long ago I'd be inclined to choose songs that we performed depending on how accurately we're able to represent that song from a stage. That's, could we cover all the parts that will make a song popular and take action justice. Every so often a song will come along that required keyboards that were so important in the song how the song was just not worth learning to live without it. We would not be able to do it justice. So, instead of ruin the song we might put it on the shelf being a song we wished we could do. I didnrrrt see the sense in hiring a full-time keyboard player to try out in 20% from the songs at best so it made more sense to not do the song.



As the time proceeded of course I joined a band that has been using backing tracks to cover piano parts in songs and even complex backing vocals and instantly realized what those tracks can be worth to a performer. That meant the very difficult backing vocals could possibly be spot on every time and the backup singers could sing easier lines when playing live, giving the trunk ups lots of depth. It also meant obviously that the music was greatly enhanced. The average audience member doesn't actually pick up on a band using tracks. All they realize is band sounds far better than the band the other day but don't really know why. The reply is in the tracks. Control singer can harmonize to his own voice easier than someone else can do it so he needs to be the one getting recorded. Take care not to put in a lot of though otherwise you risk the show becoming a karaoke act.

A crucial point to consider is the thing that to do when you have technical problems. You need to have a way out. You should know your show. I have been onstage and had the computer monitor system fail and not been able to hear the backing tracks coupled with to count on the drummer keeping correct time. Using the tracks he's a click track in the left ear he should no less than be able to keep time. He provides the click from the pre-recorded track that has a click track on the one hand and the song sample on the other hand. Using a small mixer on stage he is able to send the music activity the main mixing console and nobody in the audience will hear the press track.

Using backing tracks are an easy way to give your show a really competitive edge and hang you apart from the rest of the bands in your circuit, area, etc. I'll always use them now and am very happy to because all the songs that I put on the shelf in the years gone by can now be done efficiently.
