On one fine late afternoon in the Blue creek rainforest Me and my sons were crossing the lake trying to travel to the canopy. When suddenly the rope that we were using to cross the lake snapped while we were crossing the lake. I was startled by the sudden snap of the rope splitting in half. I said “ Oh goodness let's try to paddle to shore with our hands!“ “ Ah! How did the rope snap?“ i heard James say. When we tried to paddle to shore the boat was to heavy to move because of the weight that was on it. We were stuck there for a bit before Edward came up with an idea. “ What if we use the white poles to paddle to shore?“ Edward said. Me and James agreed to the idea to leave the lake sooner rather than later. When we tried to move the boat with the white poles, the boat started to move to shore!! When we got on land I tried to figure out how to repair the rope, but we then left it for another day.
