I love listening to music from other culture when I'm bored. It helps me feel more relaxed.

I check out random songs from other countries, and occasionally I find an itch of inspiration. Certain songs make you laugh.. because sometimes other languages aren't funny to me. Russian. I was born in Russia and grew up in Russia until I reached the legal age. I've been in America since then. I'm fluent in a variety of languages, and have also experienced many. Sometimes, I find myself having a laugh like a newborn watching videos about languages. The music is nearly irrelevant to me as I'm listening to the words and the emotions. French and Turkish Hip The latter is especially funny to me. Russian recitatives, trap. Spanish hard rock. Chinese heavy music. Some of these may not even sound like real music, but all nations, all cultures have similar stages of development and similar genres of music flow across many different cultures. This is what I love to observe.. And yes, some of it makes me smile, but it's simply jolly laughter. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone.

Sometimes, I create a road trip playlist. Since Internet isn't always accessible to me on my long arctic cruises I like to use online mp3 converter apps to save mp3s of my favorite YouTube videos. These apps allow you to unblock Youtube videos that are restricted by geography. An online mp3 player can solve this issue. They're just in another country and have the same access to the video as you do. To deblock Youtube video, just copy the URL and paste it into the mp3 converter website. The results will be visible instantly.

Apps and tools like this typically include lists of the most well-known videos. They often include music sections. It's always interesting to know which music is in demand and most popular in other countries. Though it's often different music, sometimes musicians like Selena Gomez or BTS are featured in the top-rated videos from all or most nations. This can be an indication of a recently released single. It is interesting to follow the progression of these tunes from country to country, and the way they are heard by millions of people across the globe. A majority of these songs I don't listen to, because I'm more interested in local folklore which is the kind of music that isn't heard on the radio in the USA. Russian music is a bit forced to me. Perhaps it's because I lived most of my adult life in the USA however Russian music is always a bit weird to me. I don't really know. I've tried to listen, but I find it to be a bit shallow.


I love music from across the globe, and that is why I continue to listen to it. That's why I recommend it. It's refreshing, sometimes even hilarious.
