Because you cannot depend on WiFi when you are at the summit of a mountain, I make sure my kids are prepared when we travel with them.

Yes, that's what I said.. My children believe that the WiFi located at the top of the mountain only has weak signals. Even though it's not huge, the hill is not in the normal range of cell networks. My children must look around for better internet connections while my wife and I set up the camping spots in small areas. We'll be here for a couple of days. There is a tiny stream close to the campsite that provides clean water even though we do not have the facilities to do so. Yes.. My wife isn't able to stay in a tent without enough water. We bring our own water most often.


My kids are back to social media, while I enjoy the views. While this hill isn't huge, it's surrounded many bigger ones. We visit this hill once in a while to get closer to Mother Earth. These are my most memorable trips and I'm the only person who really enjoys them. My wife insists on this because she is aware of the pleasure we get from going out in the wild. Your streaming song can be disrupted by something in the cloud, or by other magnetic movement for about a minute or so before it restores. After a few days without WiFi, and the normal internet on our smartphones constantly going out of service, it was clear that we had to be prepared. My wife and I decided to prepare for the eventuality that our kids, our children, will not have internet access for longer than 10 minutes. We created two sources of entertainment to keep us entertained when internet is not available when we go camping. One of them was a tablet that contained music videos and the top songs. Our preferred Youtube mp3 convertor helped us extract the music from videos then convert them to MP3 and then download them to the tablet. It was also able to work with playlists so it was extremely fast, even though it sounds awful. Now in case someone was feeling blue or bored, they could listen to music, watch videos, and, lucky for us all - listen to sound via blue tooth-connected headphones. Are you thinking that's awesome? Second tablet contained mostly television shows and cartoons we downloaded from Hulu and Netflix apps that have offline storage for later watching. The quality is not great but it's something. There are numerous seasons of Breaking Bad there and many shows like Family Guy and Disenchantment. Very entertaining, it was quite easy too.. Just install the apps, enable downloads for offline viewing and then download the episodes. and mark them for download and forget the app will take care of everything on its own. Tablet 2 arrived a few days after tablet 1. However, when it arrived, my children could use it and watch shows. I also included some DIY videos, such as setting up the tent and skinning fresh caught salmon. Things that you wouldn't normally do in the city. A few of the videos I downloaded off Youtube, converted them to mp4 and downloaded to my tablet. It's more convenient to have video on your tablet all the time.

These two tips have kept our kids engaged on four family camping excursions. They don't even mind going out any more, as they are aware that tablet 2 will aid them in getting through the boring time and take it home once they're prepared. I've never been happier. It's truly all I'm looking for, being close to my loved ones.
