Going on a long, distant trip? Make sure you have the necessary digital devices you require before the WiFi is no longer working.
Here's a short story of my last trip to the Arctic on a boat. It sounded wonderful, National Geographic's trip thru the Arctic ice , complete with polar bears. There was going to be frozen ice that eyes could see snow, ice, and ice everywhere. https://ytmp3.guru Man-made machinery was set to battle the elements, and cut through the northern desert that was frozen. It sounded like an epic undertaking, an epic battle with the north weather, the north pole.

I was told to take with me all the technology I could fit in my suitcases. I did pack my laptop, however, I added a large display screen to increase the workspace. It was all electric, as they told me. I was not aware of the things that were about to take place. I was unaware that I'd lose my internet connection just two days into my 14-day journey and disappear from the Earth for the next 10 days. It was a shock to me when it occurred. I was shocked to learn that any excursion, however complicated or remote, would result in a sudden break from the technology world. Not even in 21st century. Not only was there some unfinished business that I had to resolve during the following week, but I also did not prepare for the time off.


It doesn't matter whether you have to shut down your internet. Internet is everywhere. If your connection at home is slow at times and you are unable to connect, try to find an McDonalds near you and connect to their free WiFi. Bring your laptop to the nearest Starbucks and make use of the free WiFi connection to surf the Internet whenever you want. No cafe or restaurant can assist you in the north. You're hours from the nearest generator that generates electricity. You won't find the internet for free everywhere. There are two options to get out from such situations. You could be offline or bring a satellite internet connection.

I'm unable to afford a Sat phone. It's too expensive, especially for Internet access. The next time I'll have an extensive collection of audio and videos before I venture out into the unknown. https://ytmp3.guru The last time I had two songs, both were mockingly downloaded back in the day and all I was able to listen to was three jazzy songs, and a song that I didn't know the title. This is it. Four songs in two weeks of no time. If I knew this would be the case I would have planned. I would have filled my laptop with TV shows, and music videos. My top podcasts are the soundtrack to my day. It's very easy to download them, convert into mp3 then save to my PC. And then, I can lay in couch and listen to podcasts I like at home. It was meant to be my golden hour or two weeks of gold. https://ytmp3.guru/en/ But it ended up being two weeks of staring at the ceiling and running for the passengers every time there is a sound in the corridors.

The trip was empty, both literally and figuratively.. I have never been so bored. The ice was too thick. Being aware that it could cause problems, the boat had the oftowed back to civilization. This was not a huge surprise, it meant that many hours could have been spent listening to and watching videos from podcasts, DIY tutorials about home fixes or simply enjoying music. Next time, I'll convert YouTube videos from mp4 to MP3 format using my laptop. Bring these along to listen to your favorite songs right from your laptop. Music can help lift your spirits and lift your spirits, so don't let it derail you. Keep in mind that Netflix and Hulu apps let you download films and shows on your computer to watch offline. These can also be used when you travel long distances to the arctic. Don't let boredom bring you down. Best of luck!
