There's nothing better for our family than going exploring the farthest reaches of nature, but we always bring technology

We are awestruck by technology and we are unable to not help but look at our phones and tablets when we're at the campfire. Of course, HULU with its download capabilities is a huge help, as it allows us to watch hours of shows and movies copied and downloaded to laptop prior to departure. Of course, series and videos are not only good in idle time during camp excursions however they are also extremely useful for to get there, since 3 hour long trips in the camper often end up being super dull. My father is really enjoying this type of trip. He's focused on the road. Furthermore, this huge machine is extremely difficult to operate and he needs to focus completely on that.

GPS is another component of tech that we will never forget when we go camping. When in an emergency, knowing where you're in all the time and knowing how to get back to civilization is crucial. Although nothing has happened to us during our travels but we've seen reports of people suffering from snow and avalanches. If you're aware of the safest location, GPS will always point you to it. Satellites that are friendly to GPS will guide it in the right direction. We depend on another piece of technology to help take us to the camping spot. In the event of an emergency, helicopters can fly over you to check your GPS position. There are many other reasons to carry a GPS at hand for any trip that requires a remote location. It is crucial that you do not disregard technology.
