TO MY/OUR YOUTH

Youth keeps trying to overcome this Tiring times during this pandemic
Battling the outburst of the virus, escaping the void of sadness in life
youth are one in despair, youths who are kept away from yesterday
kept away from, living the life we normally play

In a blink of an eye, we are steered from our happiness, our joy and self-sufficiency
Happiness where we spend our time exploring the unknown wide world,
with our friends, family and with freedom
Now, We are prisoner, punished by living a life with full of uncertainty

From the sudden news, to the sudden changes
Our life began to crumpled and convert in distance
We purposely choose to take the road of a new normal
Than living a world with darkness and emptiness

It just like yesterday we learned using books and notebooks, chatting and laughing despite tiredness
But In a split second, the education system changes from books to Phones and mobiles that are now a necessary item in acquiring knowledge

No one expected this coming changes
No one expected this endless mess
From the given situation, youths are finding ways to cope and battle the amidst of this pandemic

Youths experience problems in school, home and within themselves
Youths goes through painful days and nights
How should we cope with this unsettling situation around us?
How should we live a life with this unfamiliar way of living?

Some youths tries to break out this anguish
By talking with their love ones, some tries to cope the situation with their interest like reading books and watching what inspires them to go on.
And sometimes, youth tries to escape the misery by just staying up all night and trying to one on one combat the problems of life.

Youths have their own way in coping up with the new environment that the pandemic sets us. We are fighting for our freedom, happiness and life over the mess brought by the virus

Youths hated themselves by not accomplishing the task they should do accordingly, youths are disappointed in themselves because of failures during this epidemic
Youths are trying not to break mentally and physically during this hardships
Youths are battling the tiring sadness during the tiring times of pandemic

No matter how many problems we face
It's easier to us to withstand, than breaking up
Sometimes, we think that "Should we turn back a couple of times in the past" or should "We walk along together upon the desolate road of sadness"
We look out into the distance where the light shines upon us. Where we can see a purpose to live on.

But still, maybe we can be a bright light in this world, Maybe after all of that pain we suffered, we can shortly shine a light
So we couldn't give up
Life is full of unexpected turns of events
So couldn't fall asleep peacefully for a single night
Because maybe if I keep trying to get up like this
I will find myself

Between the lights, That scatter one by one
A small sparkle comes from us
Even if an endless darkness comes, After this night passes
Everything will be alright, There will be No more tears shedding in our eyes.
