If you attend an online seminar that has videos that are exclusive, don't watch the videos. Instead you should download the video.
This applies to any live video that's limited in time or only accessible to subscribers. This has not stopped my use. My home internet is slow and unreliable. This is due to the fact that I'm using the WiFi mobile hotspot located at the motel. I sometimes provide water to their offices, and I also get their password which is updated every two weeks. This lets me save on the cost of purchasing my own home Internet, plus I don't have cable or anything which means this will require a lot of installation as I'm renting and this is a question I'd have to ask my landlord.. Are you able to know the extent to which this is taking you? What is the time-saving benefit of the simple fact that you have a cable connection? I utilize the internet connection at the motel instead. It allows me to be more discrete. I do not want to have my own street address when I use the Internet.

Therefore, if there's an online seminar that is unique, like from my investing advisor, or the school is hosting a lecture by a famous professor, or maybe there's an underground party that which is streaming, it's identical.. Here's what I do recently. I'm using Chrome browser, Firefox or Safari to open the inspect tab. Right click on the page and then call the page to inspect and then switch to the network tab and look for the video playlist file. It will most likely be something that has the extension m3u8. The video stream is split up into small files which your internet browser downloads and then plays in the order they were downloaded. The playlist file can be selected by clicking right. I copy its URL address into the clipboard. Then I go to the site to download online video. After I copy the URL of the playlist I click the submit key. After a couple of minutes, I can see several download options. This will indicate file size and speed of transfer. The bigger the file, the higher the quality. I prefer a lower-quality file, even if it is slow for my Internet.



I set download the file, usually it's mp4 format for video. It can take a long time however the payoff is worth it. I am not able to tune in to live streams, so downloading online videos on my PC is a good idea.
