When I met you I didn’t have any expectations or felt like we were gonna get close, I thought we’d just play together every now and then and that’s it.
Thankfully, I was wrong. We started talking more and more and I felt like we could have a great friendship, you were so fun to talk to, always made me laugh with stupid jokes or when you’d jokingly flirt with me. After we got closer I realized that maybe I didn’t want a friendship, deep down knew I couldn’t say that because I didn’t want to ruin what we had already. You always made sure I was okay and always tried to help me and listen to me everytime I wanted to vent. You are a good listener even though you keep interrupting me :/.
You are a very nice person, Zain.
I can’t even begin to explain how important you are to me and how much I adore you.
You are always my top priority, always the center of my attention and you are all I can think about 24/7.
Even when you are down you always treat me so well and make sure that I feel loved, and I do, I feel loved whenever I’m talking to you, you make me feel so safe. My ray of sunshine, I love hearing you laugh, it’s one of my favorite sounds. I could hear that voice of yours all day, it feels like honey melting into a cup of milk. Your voice feels so familiar, it feels like home.
And when I thought the day would never come, 30/1 you said it for the first time, I love you, words that I was so patiently waiting for, words that would make me completely lose balance. I wish I could put into words how I felt the moment I heard it, the moment my heart fully stopped. I could feel my head spinning and a strange but comforting warmth on my chest. My cheeks were burning red and I had sweaty hands but there I was, trying to keep my composure, trying to stop smiling so hard just so I could say it back. I didn’t. In fact, you even said it a second time that night and I never felt more alive, I was on cloud 9. You said it so confidently and that’s what made me love it even more. I was trying to process it for some minutes, building up the courage to tell you that I felt the same, to tell you that I love you too. It wasn’t until later that night when I finally said it and it just felt right.
I wanna continue loving and adoring every single part of you and I wanna keep falling for you, falling for your eyes, your hair, your hands, falling for the way you say my name, for the way you laugh, the way you constantly need attention and get really needy.
You are my favorite person Zain and I am so grateful you are in my life.
