Youtube: How to locate music that's hot or trending across the world.

This is a question that I have thought about for a while. As a citizen of the United States I've been immersed in pop culture. Dua Lipa's slippers today are my main source of inspiration. Kanye West, drooling at his petite wife. I love pop culture, and I am awed by all those participants. I'd be a perfect host for one of those Gossip & Hollywood info-talk shows that feature hosts who spill the outfits of the biggest stars. Then, they move to hosts who are less well-known and conclude with blasts of the pasts, which are sightings of stars that haven't seen in some time. I'd love to discuss all the news and rumors in a passionate, loving way however, most hosts just smack some information and never share the details.

So I've been trying to incorporate more music from other countries in my listening pool. In the beginning I'm looking to find out which music is most popular in different countries. I started by looking at the European monoliths of Germany, UK France Sweden Spain Portugal Portugal. After a long time on Youtube it seemed as if I had mastered creating Youtube provide me with the information I needed. It's not that easy. What one sees is the latest and popular music in their area, or even their country. I searched on other websites for the top 20 most-viewed Youtube videos from their countries. Some did. But it was mostly old. Nobody wants to blog about the top 20, each week. This is something you could do on TV. Hit-parades and other things.

I stayed searching.. After weeks with no success in finding an online source of recent, current songs from other countries, it was time to give up. My solution was so far to use a proxy that was free kind of plugin for Firefox (usually FF has better plugins, and more support from the developers, I think) which could connect me to the Internet thru someone else in a different country which would allow me to browse Youtube as if located in Spain or Germany. It was not reliable as such connections tend to vanish and slow. However it did provide a solution so I used it. It was a bit frustrating since I wasn't able to connect to several countries, and it was difficult to locate reliable sources. Then I discovered this YouTube to mp3 converter website that astonished me with its hidden features.


It was the Top 20 most popular Youtube videos link. It would load about 2 dozen Youtube music videos in a matter of minutes, giving me the USA chart.. Next I changed the language of the interface to German, and it returned the top 20 most watched videos. My surprise was when Top 20 trending German music videos were loaded.. It's quick, simple and user-friendly. There are no plug-ins or proxy servers. Just navigate and change languages. Top songs from Korea (Syria), Hungary, Romania, Portugal, and even the Czech Republic are all there to enjoy.
