How do you make use of Youtube to discover music that's hot, trendy and trending in other countries?

The question was on my mind for a while. As an American I am awestruck in pop music culture. Dua Lipa's slippers are what am wearing today. Kanye West is drooling about his tiny wife. I am a huge fan of pop culture and admire everyone who participates. I'd make a wonderful host for one of those Gossip & Hollywood info-talk shows that feature hosts who spill the clothes worn by the most popular stars. I began with a handful of European monoliths like Germany, UK France Sweden Spain Portugal etc. After spending many hours on Youtube I believed that I was a pro with the ability to get any information it wanted. It wasn't easy. It seems that all you can see is the hot and trending music that is popular in their region or their country at the most. I looked on other sites for the top 20 most-viewed Youtube videos from their countries. There were some that did. But the majority of them were outdated. No one wants to write about the top 20 each week. This is for TV. Hit-parades, and other things.

Then I went on to look.. After literally weeks of zero to little successes, but finding a current and up-to-date source of the latest and most popular songs from different countries, I was about to give up. The only option I could come up with a solution was to use an Firefox free proxy plugin. (FF generally offers better plugins and the developers are more generous, so I would guess). This would connect me to the Internet through someone else located in a different nation. I could then browse Youtube as if in Spain or Germany. This was not secure as these connections are often slow and then disappear. But it was an option, and I decided to try it. This was very frustrating as I was not able to access many countries and it was a challenge to find reliable sources.
