The Acupuncture Training Center
In 1975, the World Health Organization nominated China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center (CBIATC), a training institution for Chinese traditional medicine in Beijing, to develop a world-class acupuncture training institution. Now, CBIATC is known the world over as the leading acupuncture training institution. Its mission is to promote the use of acupuncture throughout the world. As a collaborating center for traditional medicine under the World Health Organization, the AIC offers acupuncture training in more than 100 countries around the world. Unlike other acupuncture training institutions, CBIATC emphasizes the philosophy of MUIH, a philosophy that emphasizes mindfulness, skillful use of language, and the power of observation.

The CBIATC is accredited by the WASC and has three foundational levels of training for acupuncture practitioners.
