How can you keep bored at bay during long hours of the night time security guard at an underground facility

These are hard times. The gig economy has made it more difficult for me to make it through this new environment. I was doing very well before pandemic hit, and now besides my main job as dental assistant, I was required to take an evening security job at a local machine production plant near my home. I have an emergency number that I call in the event that something goes wrong and machinery ceases to function without a restart time visible. Then, I contact engineers or call an outside number for additional engineers. I do not really do anything. And the thing is, they're not producing any valuable product So night time guard is really just an attendant on a switchboard..

It's something I like. It's a peaceful environment, I've had difficulty sleeping at night due to too much gas release, but here it's not an issue. Although nights can be boring I attempt to speed up the process by trying out new things. For example, the last two weeks, I've been working on the Tik Tok dance. It's not too difficult but it's a challenge to replicate the way it was done. This dance was taught to me by a young Tik Tok sister, and therefore it's not easy. I'm old and don't know how to explain the dance.

I've been playing with some new videos to fix my car in the last few months. I don't have a way to apply them right away to my car, but I love watching other people make their cars invincible. DIY videos are also informative and easy to follow. Another issue occurred. Internet stopped working on my phone eventually. http://ytoffline.xyz I couldn't access any videos or other activities because, as we all know, internet is essential to everything. I was able to download Youtube videos, then save them to my phone, and then I was able to view DIY videos without internet access. You can still view the video on your phone regardless of whether it is streaming from Youtube or somewhere else on the internet. If you download videos while at work, you can watch it on your phone even if you don't have internet access. It's as easy as DVR to stream your online videos.


In the realm of TV, I discovered how to download new episodes, and movies, too, straight to my personal computer. My laptop is more comfortable than my desktop, and has superior speakers. I joined HULU and Netflix. They permit you both to download their apps. After a time, dependent on the length of the show, its quality options, and other variables the content will be downloaded to the device. This will make it accessible at any time, from anywhere, even without internet access. Even though it is only 15 minutes long I still have the option of watching on the train as I commute to work.

There are also informative or interesting material at home, which you can carry with you when working. This will make the time go by quicker. Youtube's webinars are fantastic. However, it's hard to concentrate on the message even when interrupted many times. What am I speaking of... Do you know what I'm talking about?

My son goes with me to work. It's those days when my wife works night shifts, and it is difficult for us to stay at home with our children. I accompany him and set him up on the computer screens to monitor my work. Within hours, he's asleep. If he wakes up I offer him my laptop and a few of the music videos that I have just downloaded. He's content and I'm happy to do my thing on my phone. It's how we can work better by doing our own thing.. But he seems to like being with me, perhaps because he stays up most of the night. Isn't that what kids want sometimes?
