I'd like to begin immediately by sharing a bit about myself. I was employed in Las Vegas casinos for over 10 years. Blackjack is the one game in which you are able to make choices about your play. This includes betting and the actual play. You can decide whether to stand or hit, split and double down... This gives you some control over the outcome during the game. The benefit that dealers have when playing blackjack is that the dealer is able to make a hand (go over 21) first. In reality, if all the players on the table bust their hands and the dealer isn't busted, he doesn't have to play his or her hand. Now that is a huge advantage. The card counting system is the sole blackjack strategy worth noting. Card counting lets the player keep track of how many cards were dealt and, more precisely, the number remaining cards left in the deck. When there are a lot of tens left in the deck, and there are fewer (maybe just a fraction of the deck) cards left and the deck is considered to be wealthy. This is advantageous to the player, especially when there is a good number of aces left. The chances of obtaining blackjack is increased when playing with a rich deck. Counting helps the player be aware of how many cards could be in his deck and play his hand accordingly. It's not a bad strategy. This system could give the player an advantage or at least bring the playing field to a level. Actually, it can! It is true! Not to be forgotten, the chance of a dealer getting a blackjack has also been increasing. When I first learned about the art of counting cards, it was a thrill. This was the chance to really win some serious money. It made sense and , in theory, it is the only system that can give you an edge. So, why aren't there many people in the market making money from blackjack with card counting? It's simple. Card counters are very easy to recognize. Basically, every floorperson and pit boss must be able to count cards. They can also tell whether the deck is wealthy and if a player increases their bets accordingly. There are three things that the house can do if it spots a card counter. Simply leave it alone and let the game proceed and see what develops. You can easily inform the player that he/she she is not welcome to play at their casino. They are entitled to do this in line with the gaming commission's rules. They can also tell the dealer to deal with one or two hands before shuffle. This eliminates any benefit that a counter could have. In fact, when I was working in the pits, this was exactly how I dealt with it when I spotted the counter. Another incident that I recall was when a young lady came up to me and seemed serious and focused. Something instantly told me to watch her play. I was so tired of trying to keep my distance! The woman was actually the only player in the game, and I observed. It was true that when the deck got rich she immediately increased her bet. I looked over at the dealer, smiled and instructed her to shake the deck. It was so funny. It was hilarious that the player actually shouted "Hey!" I smiled and walked off instructing the dealer to deal two hands and then shuffle. Needless to say, the player went elsewhere with her money and probably saw the same thing happen to her wherever she went. Counting is a very under-rated skill. You can only win in the casino if you can control your money.

Let's talk briefly about roulette systems. This is a ridiculous game, and I'm not going to take too long. There is no way anyone can predict the exact location that a white ball will fall on a wheel of roulette. I've seen players rummaging on notepads and scribbling down God knows what, hoping that this will help them to know what ball will land the next. Take a look at it...the wheel doesn't spin at a constant speed. The dealer does not have the ball spinning at the exact same speed or from the exact same point each time. It is random. If the dealer removes the ball off the wheel, they gives it a slight push to continue spinning, hence the non-constant rotating speed. Also, to think that the ball's position could be affected by the previous spin is a complete blunder. Let's say for instance that 5 hits twice in one row. How likely do you believe 5 will be hit on the next spin? My friend I would say that the odds are 37-1 for 5 hitting once more. The probability of any number hitting at any given time is always 37-1/1 regardless of what happened on the previous spin(s). Most players aren't aware of this. If you hit a number that you hit, you do not get paid 37-1. You get paid 35 -1 ! You're already beat! So, in essence there isn't a system that can beat roulette. You can be lucky enough to win the game but that is luck. No system can ensure a win. It is all complete random. As Einstein stated, "The only way to beat a game of roulette is to rob the game." This is true. Never pay anyone who claims they're trying sell you a system of roulette. technology !

Okay, we have dealt with roulette and blackjack. This leaves us with craps. Craps is a complex game that offers a myriad of betting choices. I will not go into any betting systems since that isn't exactly the issue I'm trying to explain here. I am concerned about the person who believes or tries to sell the notion that he can control the way dice roll. Such a player sets the dice in a specific manner, roll them in the same way, and then claim that he or she can determine how the dice will be thrown. Do you really need to explain more? A craps table is 8 - 10 feet longand has an extremely hard surface beneath the layout of felt. It is a hard surface that bounces and bounces the dice in completely random angles and speeds. There isn't a single person in the world that can have that kind of control. It's difficult for even the top magicians from Vegas to accomplish this. It's not something you have ever seen. Of course not.


I want to conclude here that the most reliable method I've ever encountered is one that minimizes losses and maximizes wins. This money management system demands the discipline of a professional. The method is applicable to every game, but not poker. I have actually witnessed players use this method and remain ahead every day. However, it's a financial management technique, not a method.
