Camping in the wild is a great opportunity to bond with my family. However, using the use of technology is always a great idea.

It is important to mention that from the beginning: we are an outdoor family. This means we spend all of our time in the great outdoors. We have cats and dogs. We are a happy, camping family. But we all know exactly where we are and the way they arrived there. We also know where to find water and where to stay in touch with each other while watching TV. We're not willing to abandon our addictions and go without entertainment. We insist on bringing our generator as well as a beautiful 32" screen. Some people believe that we're as if we are nomads without a home or land.. We live in Seattle and our father works as a lawyer for a obscure company that pays him a an enormous salary. Mother says he does this since he likes to camp every month for four days in an effort to get rid of dirt from his work.. I don't agree.

We love spending time in front of the fire and singing songs, we also sing and play games as our cats are free to go about their day around the park. It's hilarious how they can tell when it is time to leave. Joiner is a hunter/helper dog , and he always finds our kitties upon our return. They're not losing weight and they love it there.


Although we enjoy our phones and tablets at the campfire, it is not something we disapprove of. We love technology and don't mind when they get lost, even on camping excursions. He isn't apprehensive anyhow, even when he turns off his cell phone for two days. According to him, it helps him relax. After a long day of hunting and fishing, we eat a big meal in the forest. We then sit down to watch the TV, videos, and other shows that were downloaded prior to our excursion. Parents aren't worried with us using their phones since we aren't able to connect to the internet while in the woods. There's no games email, games, and other items to reply to, and we get back into conversation. Before trip we usually download videos using a Youtube clip converter, or other website for downloading videos. HULU's download options are great as we can enjoy hours of shows and movies on laptops prior to the trip. These shows and movies do not only make camping more enjoyable, but are useful to help you get there. GPS is yet another aspect of technology we can't afford to lose during camping trips. In the event of a emergency, knowing where you are at all times and how to get back to civilization is vital. Our travels haven't been affected by anything, however we've heard horror stories of people being trapped in dirt and snow. GPS will always guide you to safety as long as it is safe to do so. The friendly satellites in the sky will also guide GPS in the right direction. We rely on another component of technology to get us to the campsite.
