Making Living space for Your Soul

How good will be your liveable space supporting you? Love to know a whole new method to re-energise yourself and your life? Try spending a couple of hours intentionally cleansing and refreshing your house environment. This simple action can dramatically improve your state of wellbeing. On this page, I explain to you how you can produce a space that nurtures and supports your soul.

1. Tune in your space...

Space clearing isn't about ordinary housekeeping tasks like vacuuming, dusting or tidying away clutter (even though they do, needless to say, help!) -- it is more about working together with the force of your house. A house doesn't have to be immaculately clean and neat or totally devoid of clutter being comfortable to reside -- it should feel good.

To acquire a a feeling of this, think about (or go to) somebody else's home that you really admire. Imagine yourself walking into this area. Exactly what is the first thing you notice? How will you feel, being there? There's something uplifting concerning the atmosphere, isn't there? Somehow merely finding yourself in space impacts on your level of energy and enables you to feel great.

So what are the special tools in that place that particularly suit your needs? Rise above surface details like a newer renovation or maybe more expensive furniture or fittings than your own home. Are available colours, textures or shapes that particularly interest you? Notice what else can make it be right for you -- get yourself a a feeling of how the space is arranged. Performs this give you ideas you could affect your own house?

Imagine that you're a visitor walking into your house and seeing it initially. What's the first thing you notice? Can there be any situation that especially annoys you, for example areas of clutter as well that requires fixing? Overall, so how exactly does the best place make you feel? Are you feeling uplifted, neutral or drained? Visualise yourself travelling each room. What is the difference in all those feelings from place to place? Take note of any particular problem areas.

2. Set your intention...

When you do any clearing, think of whatever you need to achieve. What kind of FEELING do you need to evoke at your residence? Is there a specific part of your health that you'd like to boost, such as greater abundance, more fulfilling relationships, enhanced creativity, better health, deeper spirituality? If you do, set aside a second to determine the actual most important location to concentrate on right now.

Then set your intention to consciously produce a home space that nurtures and uplifts you. As Denise Linn says: "Where intention goes, energy flows." By focusing your intent on what you would like to achieve, you will intensify the effects of your space clearing and open up the flow of their time into that section of your health.

3. Pay off the clutter...
Now find yourself in trouble into some clutter clearing! What can you do about the problem area/s you identified on the "walk through" earlier? Exactlty what can you do in order to evoke a more positive feeling in your space? Be sensible in doing what you can achieve from the time you might have. Perform bit today plus a little more tomorrow or next weekend. Keep in mind that this doesn't happen have to be perfect, it really has to feel happy!

If you have a great deal of clutter or even a number of rooms that require cleansing, choose one (or perhaps a corner of one) and start there. Start out with the room that represents the facet of your daily life that is certainly most needing re-energising. For example, work on your bedroom if you wish to concentrate on relationships or spirituality, choose your office or study for enhancing career or creativity, your kitchen for much better health, the restroom for self-nurturing, maybe family area for overall balance and wellbeing.

Open all windows and doors, got some music and enjoy the clearing process. Enable your intuition direct you to completely clean and rearrange things in the more harmonious way. I've found it is powerful to say an affirmation while cleaning clutter -- it keeps your brain focused along with your intent clear. My favourite is: "I am now clearing all blockages and joyously opening to receive the abundant flow with the universe!"

4. Cleanse and purify...

When you've physically cleared a room (or rooms), it's time to cleanse and purify the energy within your space. You do not need any special skills to achieve this -- your own personal positive intent 's all that you need. Set aside a second to centre yourself and remember of the intention, then simply stay at home the midst of the area or walk around the space, mentally cleansing and lightening the setting. With practice, you can have the energy inside the room lift. To test this, once you've finished cleansing, leave the bedroom then return in again -- it is going to feel distinctly better if you approach the area.

It may seem helpful to utilize a few tools to work with you in the cleansing process. Below are a few suggestions:

-- use a room spray or burn a mix of essential oils (e.g. eucalyptus, lemon, rosemary or peppermint for cleansing and uplifting; lavender, geranium, rose or sandalwood for harmonising and relaxing) and permit the aroma to permeate the room

-- light a sage smudge stick or some sandalwood incense and move the area, wafting the smoke into any locations the power feels stagnant or blocked

-- obtain a bell and move the space gently ringing it, still ring before tone is clear and pure; it is really an intuitive process, so listen carefully and work with any spots where your bell sounds muddy or tinny -- continue and ultimately mid-air in the room will actually sound clean!

Do some space clearing and cleansing whenever you are feeling a lttle bit shabby or perhaps the atmosphere in your house feels sluggish -- it's a wonderful boost!
