I’m Courtney, a 15 year old daughter of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and all that good shit. My eyes are a stormy grey and I tend to figure things out pretty easily. I have a sporty figure, I’m not exactly thin, I’m well built. My hair is blonde and wavy, touching my shoulders. I’m pretty tall for a girl, I’m 5’9’’. I came to camp when I was ten, and I tend to keep my past pretty private, though, for unknown reasons, I’m suddenly opening up. Nobody is sure why, and I’m not going to tell them, not yet.
I was an orphan, I never knew my mother or father, so nobody knew if I was born from a god or a goddess. Sometimes, even I wonder if I’m really a child of Athena. I mean, I used to make fun of the Athena kids, the know-it-alls. The only real “smart” blondes. I know, I’m a blonde, but it still gave people a good laugh. Well, me, personally, I don’t think I’m all that smart. I hate the idea that I might be compared to the brilliance of the other kids from cabin 6.
The thing was, growing up in a foster family of seven, I learned to take first and ask questions later. I’m also a pretty good liar. People used to assume I was a daughter of Hermes because I can always smuggle things passed the border usually things I would steal. Don’t tell Chiron though, because then I’ll have to close my black market supply. I wasn’t even claimed until after the second titan war, when Percy told the gods that their half mortal kids had to know where they came from. Even with my looks, it came as a big surprise when the other campers found out that I wasn’t a child of Hermes. Because of all the time I spent in cabin 11, I can be quite sly, so you might want to watch your back. I do a lot of recruiting too, sometimes I go to public or private schools to find new campers. This is when I pick up odd jobs and make money to buy things from the mortal world. Place an order and I can almost always deliver. Everyone knows that when I go down to the lake to be alone, it’s the best time to place orders. I can get you pretty much anything, from Pez candies to alcohol, I can get it. I got it all, but it’ll cost ya an arm and a leg, though a few drachma works too. Payment, is very important.
If you’re cool, I might hang with you, just don’t be a dick. If you’re rude, I’ll tell you so. I’m not afraid to speak my mind, not ever. I don’t back down, you mess with my friends, you’re messing with me. I grew up with a lot of siblings much older than I, so I’m more mature than most my age. I prefer to be surrounded by guys to avoid drama. I try my best to stay away from romance. Romance leads to trouble and I don’t want that. If I don’t know what’s going on, it drives me nuts. I may pry, but I don’t mean anything by it. If you have a problem with cursing then, I don’t give a fuck. I’m sorry. (JK, I’m not sorry at all.) My personality may offend you, and I don’t really care. I’m pretty laid back most of the time. I love to write about things that bother me, and about things in my life. If I don’t like you, it’ll be obvious. I come up with nicknames for almost everyone, so don’t take it too seriously.
I have a sword named Lepída Sofía or “Wisdom blade,” it turns into a ring when not in battle. I’m good with my sword as well as my fists. I usually win a fight. And I never start a fight I don’t intend to finish.
As for relationships… I have a best friend named Emily, daughter of Poseidon and another friend named Promise, daughter of Zeus. I will do anything for them. Yeah boys, you better watch out. You hurt them I hurt you.
