What is Deep Learning

Deep Learning history goes back to the 2000s. Deep learning (deep structured learning) is a field of study that includes neural networks and learning algorithms. [1 ] Deep learning directly affects the World economy. Deep learning is used in many areas in today’s World. Areas where deep learning is commonly used are face recognition, autonomous cars and user experience.


The Importance of Deep Learning

Thanks to deep learning, many tasks are done more easily in today's world. The usage area of deep learning is increasing day by day. Deep learning is used today to discover new health products. Deep learning was used to predict sleep quality based on data from wearables and used to predict from incoming data. [2] Deep learning is also used to diagnose diseases.


Impacts of The Deep Learning on The Society

Deep learning affects society in many different ways, and with the development of this technology, our lives are changing much faster than before. Deep learning has also played an important role in facilitating communication between people from different communities.
In today's world, people can easily understand and communicate with each other's languages thanks to the applications which are developed with deep learning.
At the same time, deep learning has deeply affected the economic structure of the society.
Deep learning and artificial intelligence are now integrated into factories and and this makes people worried about the future and unemployment. In 2017, Covariant.ai was launched, which program is focuses adapt deep learning into the factories. [3]

What is E-Commerce

E-Commerce allows people to shop online. E-Commerce uses the world wide web. E-commerce also ensures that products around the world are supplied to the markets of different countries. All kinds of products, from clothing to cosmetics, from real estate to food, are offered for sale through e-commerce sites.

The Importance of E-Commerce

Thanks to e-commerce, many manufacturers can bring their products to people from all over the world. At the same time, people can evaluate the products they want to acquire, taking into account user comments.

People can buy the products which are they want from their homes only using the internet and smart devices. This also makes it easier to serve a large number of people.

Impacts of The E-Commerce on The Society

At noticeable rates, e-commerce markets are rising. In 2015–2020, the online market is projected to expand by 56 percent. In 2017, worldwide retail e-commerce sales amounted to US$ 2.3 trillion and e-retail revenues are expected to rise to US$ 4.88 trillion in 2021.[4]
Traditional markets are only projected to rise by 2 percent over the same period.

Also thanks to information-related platforms, tech applications and digital goods, e-commerce helps generate new job opportunities. This also triggers job losses. Retail, mail, and travel agencies are the sectors with the highest expected job losses. The advent of e-commerce stores such as Amazon has made it more difficult for traditional distributors to draw customers to their stores and forced businesses to adapt their sales strategies. Many businesses have turned to sales deals and improved digital efforts to draw customers while closing down brick and mortar locations. [5]


Cloud Computing

What is Cloud Computing

The on-demand availability of computer system resources, in particular data storage and processing power, without direct active user management, is cloud computing. [6] In general, the term is used to describe data centers accessible over the Internet to many people.
Cloud computing was popularized in 2006 with the introduction of its Elastic Compute Cloud software by Amazon.com. [7]

The Importance of Cloud Computing

It is simpler to manage cloud computing systems since they do not have to be installed on the computer of each user and can be accessed from various locations. Through the use of multiple redundant sites, flexibility increases, which allows well-designed cloud storage ideal for business continuity and disaster recovery.
Impacts of The Cloud Computing on The Society

Cloud computing has played an important role in making use of the tools needed by the society. It made it easier to share data among people. However, the use of cloud computing in public and private institutions has positively affected the society. At the same time, cloud computing and fast data sharing have made many advances in education life.
