hi, baby. happy first month of emarcy! i hope you know i suck at writing stuff like this and that i'm not as good as you but uhhh... how do i start this? being by your side has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me, and loving you is one of the most peaceful events of my -very- turbulent life. meeting you was like finally receiving the peace i had desired for so long, like finally being able to close my eyes and take a breath, knowing nothing would hurt me and that i was safe as long as i laid in between your arms. you make me feel safe and peaceful, but you also put my world upside down in a way that no one has done before, and that's what i love about you. you don't bore me, annoy me or make me sad. totally the opposite: you keep me distracted, you inspire me to do so many things and you make me the happiest i've ever been.
you waited so long for me and you've been so patient with my disappearing-emo-ass, and that way you've proved you clearly want to be with me as much as i want to be with you, and that you entirely love me as much as i love you. never in my past relationships have i been able to say "yes, my partner truly loves me," but with you i can. you make me feel sure. with you there's no place for doubt, and i hope that you feel the same way about me, because i love you more than anything. i love your personality, your jokes, your eyes, your smile, your body as a whole and everything that has to do with you, and i hope that as time passes i get the opportunity to know more about you and learn to love all of it. to love all of you.
all i want for now is to grow old next to you and our babies (both cat and human ones), to be a stereotypical married couple whose love for their kids and eachother goes beyond all things. i want to go camping like these silly white families do, i want to plan birthday parties next to you, i want to attend our kids' tea parties together and eat all of those invisible choco-chip cookies that are oh so delicious. i want us to go stargazing, to buy a cake for our 42nd anniversary of marriage and be together until the day we die. i also want us to be the same horny bastards until our wrinkly bodies can't do it anymore, making love and enjoying eachother for as long as we can. i want to appreciate your cute body until i've kissed every single inch of it, until there's no place my hands haven't touched, no mole i haven't counted or traced like a beautiful constellation, and until there's no place for me to kiss your lips anymore. i want you as a whole, emiko. you're the woman of my dreams and i want us to stay together forever, just you and me.
i know it's too early to say things like that, but it's true that some people make you feel in weeks what others couldn't in months. i'm so excited to be your boyfriend, your husband, your best friend for eternity. to be that person you love. and i'm excited to have you around for the rest of my days as well.
