1. Cuthbert Binns adalah seorang profesor yang mengajar Sejarah Sihir di Hogwarts. Konon ceritanya, beliau tidak sadar kalau dirinya sudah meninggal. Jadi saat mengajar di kelas beliau dalam keadaan menjadi hantu.
2. Mungkin karena tittle dari pelajaran yang diajarkan mengandung Sejarah. Dan dikelasnya beliau hanya membaca catatan miliknya tanpa habis membuat semua murid merasa mengantuk dan bosan. Tapi Profesor Cuthbert Binns tidak merasa keberatan kalau siswanya tidur dan tidak memperhatikan. Meskipun banyak yang tertidur, semangat beliau yang masih tetap mengajar patut dicontoh, bahkan beliau pun sudah menjadi hantu.
