"Hey-!" He said, turning to yell at whoever had thrown it, when his eyes landed on Sara's fist.
His face of anger melted into a charming smile, but he didn't dare say anything and catch the teacher's attention. He grabbed the paper and opened it.
"Hey, Cutie. Wanna get coffee?" Sara's fist had written.
Joe could feel his face flush red, as he quickly scribbled back on the paper, "Sure." He tossed it back, and felt himself blush some more as Sara's fist caught it with ease, and winked at him.

Later in the day, after class, Joe sat in the coffee shop by himself. Sara's fist was late, and he had a mug of coffee cupped in his hands, holding it tightly and soaking in the warmth.
He jerked his head up, hearing the bell on the door ring. Sara's fist rushed in, taking a seat quickly, out of breath.
"What happened to you?" Joe asked, letting out a gentle chuckle. Sara's fist twisted into mock anger. "Hey! I was running late, okay? At least I made it."
Joe smiled at Sara's fist, "Can I get you a coffee?"
Sara's fist shook its head no, almost frantically. "No way, running all the way here got me worked out. There's no way I could drink something hot."
Joe shrugged, setting his drink down, "Makes sense. So, why did you call me here?"
Sara's fist then turned red, which was a rarity. Joe had never seen Sara's fist like this.
"I...I wanted to confess something," Sara's fist said, looking down at the floor, fist face still flushed. "I...I like you. I always have."
Now it was Joe's turn to blush. Sara's fist's eyes filled with tears, and Sara's fist quickly rose from the seat. "I'm sorry!"
Joe stood up too, approaching Sara's fist. "Well, to be honest. I've...always liked you too."
"Really?" Sara's fist asked, gradually closing in. Joe closed his eyes.
"Yeah.."
Joe leaned in for the kiss
And Sara's fist socked him right in the face.
