Joy: Great.....Last time we talked we discussed that God does hear our prayers, and I left you with this question. "What can we pray about?"
Have you thought any on that?
Lace: Yes, I have and I really don't know for sure the answer.
Joy: The Bible answers that question for us here at 1John 5:14 (As soon as she gets it - read) Now people believe different things regarding
prayer but based on this verse, do you think God would answer our prayer if we asked for $$$million.
Lace: Well I'm going to say probably not.
Joy: Okay based on this scripture, "Why not?"
Lace: Because the scripture says, " according to his will"
Joy: Great observation. So, we can pray for anything according to his will. So, what about asking him for wisdom to do what is right?
Lace: Sure we can ask him for that.
Joy: Yes because we can find a lot of evidence in the Bible that God wants us to have wisdom to do what is right.
Lace, I would like to call you in a couple days, say Friday around this time to discuss, "How does God answer our prayers." And do think
it would be possible to set aside maybe 15 minutes to do this? If not 2 or 3 minutes will be fine.
Lace: No, that would be fine. 15 minutes will work out great. I'm looking forward to it.
