If your xbox does everything you want and need it to do so no reason to be a consoomer and get the newest one. Same with laptop and pc. they do everything i need them for. laptop for light work and pc for the games i do play and internet and movies. Which is why i do not really need to or want to upgrade for it a good while still. (And longer you wait, the cheaper and better tech gets). Bare mininum by time i upgrade i want ddr5 to be out and the gpu inside to be faster then the one in the ps5 so i know it will last as long as the ps5 life cycle and run all games that comes out for it. Also the reason i rather make a really good high quality purchase of a pc that can last a super long time and future proof then many shitty PCs. for stationary and mature and peak tech like a desktop, you can easily futureproof it. Futureproof applies to a desktop. To a phone? Not nearly as much due to how much it is changing every year and requiring newer hardware for software updates and laggy and its not nearly as mature and physcially, it is not stationary but portable so way more prone to damange and breaking. But phones are reaching peak soon or already did too be honest, so any future phone i get should last me almost as long as pc assuming i repalce battery. (but also keep in mind at some point it is more economical and worth it to rather get a "new" 2 year old flagship or mid range then raplce battery in 4 year old phone for around same price)
