Bursa is the first capital of the Ottoman Empire. It`s the fourth largest city of Turkey with historical beauties. I think it is the most beautiful city of Turkey. Bursa is not so crowded as Istanbul. Bursa is a city of tourism and has a beautiful sea. The historical monuments of Bursa are; Grand Mosque, Green Mausoleum, the tomb of Emir Sultan and Osmangazi Mausoleum. Bursa`s candied chestnut, peaches, towels, sword and shield dance and the great mountain (Uludag) are very famous. Bursa`s Iskender kebap is very famous which is unique.
50 years ago Bursa more trees,less crowded,more natural.So it was a better city.But now crowding of immigrants,growing population,unplanned urbanization,growing buildings,less natural...I think 50 years ago is better.I did not see it but I know from the photos and my elders telled.
