I originally came to Japan in order to fulfill my dream of someday living here and to figure out what I wanted to do in the future. I have achieved both of those goals, and I believe it is time for me to move on. Having spent many of the last 5 years teaching English and making presentations with medical professionals, they helped me discover my next goal in life.

I wish to study medical sciences for 2 main reasons. Like many others in these programs, I wish to help people and see them happy. I also find a sense of self-actualization when I see my students succeed and hear how my lessons have indirectly helped save lives. There is no better feeling than that. Now, I plan to directly do so. However, I also have a selfish motive for this application. I realized that there are very few things I enjoy more than learning. I wish to spend my whole life doing just that, and there is no end to what I can learn from studying physics and medicine. In my free time, I study an Anatomy and Physiology textbook in order to better help my clients as well as better help my future in medicine. I also regularly watch science videos and read science news to better inform myself about the world.

Moreover, I feel a Master's Degree in Medical Physics suits the types of science I find the most fascinating; Anatomy and Physics. I have a considerable number of reasons why I wish to study at the University College London. One is because I know that the quality of education and career opportunities I will receive will be highly esteemed. That is undeniable. For me, though, I only found the university because I was looking for this specific course that you offer around the UK, and I meet the entry requirement for it. After doing more research, I then realized how prestigious your university and programmes are.

In regards to the career opportunities, I would ideally like to work with the therapy for cancer patients and focus on nuclear medicine.
