Children and young adults should not be allowed to play football considering the risks of CTE. This is because of the extreme risks that come with the sport, especially the possible effects of CTE. As the disease progresses, people experience memory loss, mood swings, poor judgment and even dementia." Sport is not worth the symptoms of this disease and these effects in children and young adults likely alter their quality of life.
