With this move, the Patriots add yet another weapon to a roster that severely lacked it last season. TE was a clear need for this team and has been for a while, so why not get two top ten TEs? That’s the route the Patriots decided to go in, and I’m a huge fan of it. While they still lack a true WR1, having a great TE duo will help make up for that and significantly improve the receiving group of this team. While Jonnu Smith is more of a RAC threat, Hunter Henry is more of a physical player with good enough separation ability, and he has also shown elite play in the past. In my opinion, that’ll form a great duo, and that gives the Patriots two very good options in the passing game, something they didn’t have last year. With how much money they invested in both, it looks like they want to run a lot of 12 personnel, which makes a lot of sense. I love what the Patriots are doing this offseason.
