I thought re-signing Matt Milano had to be a priority this offseason for Buffalo. While Milano may not be a good run defender, and he misses a lot of tackles, he is very good in coverage, and coverage LBs provide a lot of value. He is exceptional at covering running backs out of the backfield, and the Bills clearly missed that while he was injured this year. Tremaine Edmunds was also very disappointing, so the LB situation would not be the best without Milano. Not only did they extend him, but they got pretty good value too. I thought this was about what he should’ve gotten, and according to Spotrac, his calculated market value was $13.8M. All in all, this is without a doubt a great signing by Buffalo.
