7) pilgrimage is a holy journey or journey to somewhere religious
8) The vatican city is found on the site of the death of St Peter who was jesus favourite apostle and considered to be his best friend and rock. Many pilgrims go to rome to see the Vatican city, attend mass there and pray there, The Vatican city is pictured on the right, overlooking St Peter's square. 
9) Walshingham is a town in Norfolk in the east of England In the year 1061 Mary (the mother of Jesus) appeared 3 times to a woman Rychold de Faverches and on te spot where Mary appeared Rychold wanted to build a chapel called our lady of Walsingham. The workmen struggled to build the chapel at first and Rychold was worried so she spent the night in praayer. The morning after when Rychold woke up the chapel had been built, it was a miracle. Walsingham is considered  one of the holies places in Englas and 250,000 pilgrims go and visit the chapel every year. 
10) Jersualem is the capital and largest city in Israel. It is a site of pilgrimage for the world's 3 monotheistic religions (religions that olny worship ONE God) Jewish people go there to see the western wall which is the olny remaining wall left from the jewish temple that was destroyed in the year 70AD by the romans. This is pictured on the right.
11) Jerusalem, this is where Jesus lived his later years, he was crucified and buried and rose from the dead here. It is also where the disciples lived and worked after Jesus had gone to Heaven Lourdes - this is a small town in France where Mary appeared to Bernadette, a small water hole is on the spot there and people believe the water has healing powers
12) After a few thoughts, I decided it was best to go on a pilgrimage, so I decided to go to Walshingham, I knew it would be a tough, long journey, but it would be the trip of a life time.
