The Erhu is a Chinese two-stringed musical instrument held in the lap and played with a bow. It looks extremely simular to a violin. It is 81 cm from top to bottom, the length of the bow is also 81 cm. It is the size of three rulers. The Erhu is also called a spike fiddle, which may also be called a Southern Fiddle, and is sometimes called the Chinese violin or a Chinese two-stringed fiddle!!

The dizi, is very simular looking to a flute! It is also sometimes known as the di or héngdi!
xiao
The xiao is a flute. It is generally made of bamboo! It is also sometimes called dòngxiÄo, dòng that means hole. An ancient name for the xiÄo is shùzhúdí.
Bawu
The bawu is shaped like a flute but it is actually a free reed instrument, with a single metal reed!
Tanggu
The tanggu is a drum. It is medium in size and barrel-shaped, it is also made out of animal skin, and is played with two sticks.
