Practice? Assigning for students? Setting goals?
I will practice 3 times this week.
I will practice 30 min each day. 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the afternoon.
Spend first 5 minutes planning out:
First 5 minutes warming up with rolli scrolli excersises, next 5 minutes practicing ist 4 measures firevly, next 5 mintues improvise a march on the black keys, last 5 minutes surprise! work on a piece you want to, write a song, or surprise me with something.

Practice mapping your own schedule out! What are your goals? We want to... read music better, right? We want to... have good piano technique? We want to... learn some piano pieces and play them well? We want to... make music???
I am writing here because I am a bit upset at myself and frustrated with the way I handle lessons. Sometimes they are amazing, sometimes they feel all over the place, and I think I am starting to think a lot about goals. What kind of goals do we want to place in the short term and the long term? Starting with that, the end. And I think we talked about that before, but I haven't been writing on the google doc.. Kiaran told me he wasn't sure if Renet was actually practicing and how much and how to go about having that conversation. And for me it is very much a process that I am figuring out, I don't have the answer... I'm trying out many different things...
So yeah. I'm just acknowledging that I feel bad, I didn't prepare special holiday pieces or activities, lesson felt a bit of a drag, and I didn't really know what to ay to Renet sometimes. It wasn't fun :(
