2. The air veteran initially placed in LMC CEE (T-24) for ID-Obesity, ID Dyslipidemia, Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT) and ID- Primary hypertension vide AFSMF-15 dated 25 Oct 2005 while posted to 15 FBSU, AF Obsese built individual with heights-168 cms, weight-85kgs (IBW-68kgs) had no family h/o HTN DM, CAD. During subsequent review he was placed in LMC A4G2(P) for ID-Primary Hypertension, ID lGT and ID-Dyslipidemia vide AFMSF-15 dated 30 Apr 2009 with instructions to gradually reduce weight by diet control and daily jogging/brisk walk.
3. His Release Medical Board not solely on medical ground was held at AF Stn Chandigarh vide AFMSF-16 dated 09 Sep 2009 and found him fit to be released from service in low medical category A4G2 (P) composite his dis-1 and dis-2 as aggravated by service and dis-3 as neither attributable to nor aggravated by military service [Reason. As mentioned in Para 1, Part-V of AFMSF-16 (RMB Proceedings copy annexed)]. The Percentage of disablement was assessed @30% for dis-1 and 11-15% for dis-2 and 11-14%, composite 40% for life long. Disability qualifying element for disability pension was 30% for life long. His RMB was approved by Dy PMO HQ MC, IAF dated 24 Sep 2009.
