((Not a bot, please say if reading!) Hey, I'm Night, non-binary(I prefer playing as such but I can play as another gender if you want), pan, bot/sub, 5'2, and pretty pale. I have short and volumized black hair that has a medium-sized purple streak in the front that usually covers up part of my face, and my eyes are dark grey with golden rings around the pupils due to central heterochromia. I also have a tattoo of a crescent moon on my wrist as well as an ear cuff shaped like a serpent. )

The land of Totius was a magical one, having different types in every part of the ecosystem. Those who lived in this land usually specialised in a certain type of magic and over time they grouped together in different tribes based on their magical usage. However, there was one magic that had been forbidden from the land: Noctis magic. Those born with this magic were able to hide in the shadows, shapeshift into a certain animal based on traits that the person had, bond with those nocturnal animals and read the minds of others. The leading ruler of the land, the Light magic users had seen this great power and twisted the stories to read that they were gruesome warriors who wanted nothing but death, despite that being far from the truth. Alas, it worked and any child who was born with the mark of the Noctis was ordered to be killed, eventually leading to the extinction of that tribe. The extinction of all but one.
I raced through the forest, hopping over a fallen log, my dark grey pelt blending in with the overcast floor. Alongside me was another wolf who, although being larger, was slower. I narrowed my eyes as I could see the end of the course fast approaching. I quickened my pace and it only took me a few more seconds to get to the end. Once I did, I turned and looked back at the other wolf who slowly trotted up. 'Ugh, you always win,' I can hear him say as I shift back into my human form. "I know. You just have to get faster, I guess," I say to him as we start heading back to where I had been staying. There was a small grove we came across that we decided to stay in for a few days. 'It's just cause you're small,' he remarks, jumping onto a large rock in the middle. I hiss at him a little. "I am not-" my retort gets cut off by the rustling of leaves coming from what seemed to be an area over by a nearby river. I quickly went into the shadows, turning to nothingness and waiting to see who it was, the other wolf following behind me.
