Driver is the most exciting club in the bag because you can hit it the furthest. pick a driver with a 450 cc head it gives you a big space to be able to hit the ball. being able to lookdown and see such a big head makes the confidence of a beginner. the shaft is the engine of the driver, the shaft of club needs to match your swing. No need to spend big money on your first driver.

irons when shopping for irons you will get a better return on them as you get more for your money as sold in sets. when buying a set you will be able to fill 6-8 spaces in the bag.

most beginner's struggle to get the ball off the ground at first it can seem an impossible test to get the ball 3 ft off the ground. but latter on when playing in wind you will see that it can help later down the line.

trying to hit curves, you wanna use the curves to help get round trees etc

the pitching wedge will have 43-46 degree whilst over wedges will have a higher degree angle

wedges will need to be replaced more often than any other clubs, only get a single season out of them if you play and practise very often.

putter is essential, the putter is very helpful. the putter you use must be one you like and practise a lot with it. try a few options. head to a local golf shop to see what size helps you the most and feels very comfortable . If the putter you purchased is not for you make sure you purchase a new one.

the new clubs such as a hybrid changed the game where people got rid of their long arm club to get a few hybrids in their bag, the hybrid club is very helpful for new golfers as it gives you a better chance to get a good distance after the tee. the hybrid clubs can help as well if you are not doing well with the driver as it gets you a good distance.
you don't need to break the bank when starting off with golf as the better clubs i.e. most expensive are not going anywhere, be smart when buying the clubs as it might annoy you when think about how much to put into the clubs. so don't buy clubs that is for the more experienced clubs and do not get pure pressured into getting those clubs.

don't buy online because the clubs you buy might not feel how you believed they would be. But if you want pre owned clubs the best place to go is the internet.
