In the instant he had his knife out and pointed lazily towards her, she was up and drawing her gun, shortly followed by the tell tale click of the safety being taken off. She muttered something inaudible as the other two sitting at their fire jumped up, the surrounding spectators just staring, eyes wide with shock and quiet murmurs floating about from them.

With adrenaline still coursing through her veins, she kept the gun sights trained on the man in front of her who had his hands raised in surrender. North looked between Everett and Gene, who currently had Rileigh standing in front of him, debating what to do for a split second. It didn't take long before she stepping in between woman's gun and that man brandishing a knife. Going slowly, hands raised as she tried to appear as nonthreatening as possible.

Standing as still as a statue, Eve's eyes darted around frantically as she assessed the situation. Everything about North said "calm down, there's no danger."

That was a joke, considering she was the danger here.

Still frozen in placed with the gun now locked onto North, the woman in front of her hesitated a moment before beginning to take a cautious step forwards towards the barrel. The only thing that succeeded in doing was making Eve take an abrupt step backwards, her knuckles beginning to turn white as her index finger rested on top of the trigger.

"Hey, hey, hey! C'mon now Eve, there's no need for this. It's fine." Using a gentler tone than she normally would with her, which still really wasn't that gentle or calming, she was just making an attempt to get the gun's safety back on and holstered. Or at least out of the hands of the other woman, whichever put the group at the least amount of risk.

Extending her hand out towards the barrel, still keeping the slow pace, she placed her index and middle finger onto the end of the barrel. The part that could end her right now, with the squeeze of a trigger. Already appearing visually pale in the face from staring down a gun, her lips continued moving, though she wasn't saying anything. Or at least to Eve.

Still hesitating to make any movements, the gun began shaking ever so slightly. Barely noticeable to anybody but the two of them, but shaking either way.

Taking note of the hesitation, and wanting to get this over sooner rather than later before either of them made any dumb moves, North quickly wrapped her hand around the barrel of the gun and pointed it down to the ground between her feet. A gunshot rang out moments before the firearm was roughly yanked out of her hands and tossed to the ground beside the pair. She cringed at the harsh noise and Eve gave her an utterly dumbfounded look. At least there were no infected around that could've heard it, she had made sure of it before they set up camp.

She only got the chance to look for a second before she hit the ground, her breath being knocked out of her as the taller woman's arm pressed down on her neck, making her grab wildly at North. "Shoulda never let you out of my sight. 5 minutes and you pull a fucking gun on Gene. Lewy will be hearing about this." She spoke with her face pulled into a beyond pissed look, more so than usual. It still wasn't exactly intimidating, more like a puppy trying to scare off danger by baring its teeth, but the promise about Cap? That was what got the scared look onto Eve's face real quick.
