Two-pronged internship
researching digital learning methods --> encouraging accountability and participation in a distance learning setting
Updating curriculum and the methodological set up and format of the course --> making improvements
Teaching/ supporting subgroups of senior high school students in writing a preliminary research paper in anticipation of university education
Creating learning resources on the basis of our own experience with higher education

Client perspective
Last period Professor Gardiniers was concerned about keeping students impassioned about their progress using digital learning methods, and is aware of the necessity to be adaptable to changing corona measurements. However, this period, as we are dealing with the first semester of the course the challenge lies more in the transition from high school learning to university education

Our perspective
To be empathetic to the needs / goals of both parties (the teacher and the student) and facilitating communication between the two
- gain the respect of our students who may not be all that younger than us, which will be challenging yet rewarding going into further professional paths (esp as females in leadership positions)
- understanding the potential of familial stressors at home and non-academic stressors that may impact scholastic performance
- most important: we are coming to pop some bubbles and shatter some world views
-another worry is our spelling.
