English – superpowers of languages.
In this text I will write about why English became a world Language, and how the English language has developed into a global language.
Why did English become a world language ?
There isn’t actually a official definition of global or world language, but usually its when a language is learned or spoken internationally it becomes a world/global language, its not only characterized by international speakers but people who have it as their second language, English has Become a “Lingua Franca” Because of this.
Lingua Franca is a common language for people whose native languages a different to enable communication between them.
English is a Germanic Language and only about 30% of English words are Anglo Saxon.
The top ten English word used are – be, have, do, say, make, go, take, come, see, get – and their all survivors from old English.

Why is it important to learn English ?
Connections are what brings people together, the more people know English the more people can communicate with each other, and learning more than your native language increases your job possibilities by a lot, because you can have a wider audience then when you just speak in your native language.
English is also a business language and for different companies to interact with each other they use English.
