This is the laptop I would recommend to you because of the following reasons:
It is only $556 including tax and shipping, making it quite affordable.
It has a Ryzen 5 processor and Ryzen Integrated Graphics, which are superior to the Intel processor found in most cheaper laptops. This will be enough to smoothly run Zoom, watch Netflix/Hulu/YouTube, and run light games like League of Legends (free) Valorant (free) or Minecraft Bedrock ($25), and Roblox (free)
It is a 15 inch laptop, which should be a good size.
It has a backlit keyboard for typing in low light situations.
It has an extended 2-year protection plan for $65, or a 4-year protection plan for $113. I would recommend purchasing the 2-year protection plan, as it is relatively cheap and definitely good for peace of mind and safety.
It has 8gb of DDR4 ram, which is enough for school/work use and enough for light gaming. This is better than the 2/4/6gb of ram found in most cheap laptops, which struggle to open more than 3 chrome tabs, while the 8gb of ram found here will support anything you need to do. It will also run Zoom better than any chromebook if the need arises.
It has a 256gb SSD. This is better than the HDDs found in most cheaper laptops, and can achieve faster read and write speeds. 256gb will be enough for any school programs and a couple of games.
It has 4.7/5 stars, with 85% 5 star reviews.
Overall, I’d say that this is an amazing laptop for what you, a student and possibly light Minecraft/roblox gamer would need, and comes at an amazing price.
