As you may know, today is the last day of the Neural Hacks Hackathon! We thank you for signing up as judges/mentors and hope that you can help us grade the submissions. Our goal is to hold a Closing/Awards Ceremony on Sunday Evening (PST) to bring together the entire Neural Hacks Community, as long as people can make it then. If not, we will move it to be next Saturday!
In either case, we'd love to be able to select winners by Sunday at 2 pm PST, and so we're earnestly requesting all of you to grade your respective submissions by then. We will make sure to send you an email with all of the submissions that are assigned to you by Sunday at 12:30 am, which gives you guys around 14 hours after that to grade them. We know this is a quick turnaround, but hope that you guys can divert some time from your busy lives to help us!
We are attaching a rubric before that you guys can use to grade all of the submissions, and we will resend this with the submissions grading email as well:
Originality
- How original is the idea compared to tocurrent technology? (3)
- How original is the idea when compared to other projects? (2)
Practicality
- Addressing the topic provided? (4)
- How effective is the project in the real world? (6)
- Reliance on the project’s target audience? (5)
Design
- Does the team show professionalism? (2)
- Is the program user-friendly? (8)
Demonstration
- Demonstration addressing each part of the program? (10)
- Does the program show flaws when being explained- glitches, bugs,etc.? (10)
Points have been assigned at the side to show how much you will grade each part out of. Please give each team a score and send all of them back to us as a reply to that email!
