2. fannie was a black civil rights activist who went to the doctors for a uterus problem and left infirtile. it reminds me of a passage that i read where slave owners practiced treating the lighter pigmented blacks better than the darker ones in order to create division between us for 300+ years. and that time where doctors used a womans blood sample for treatments and cures without her consent because they found that her blood cells like didnt die or something.

4. Joseph was taken to reservations in Oklahoma and Washington. He was never allowed to return home. Many of his people died of disease on the reservation. Chief Joseph spoke against the unjust treatment his people had received.
5. wanted people to be treated equally and to be granted a home where his people wouldn't die of disease. i think it was reasonable he wasnt asking for much, and it could have been granted easily but i doubt the government gave a crap about them
