1) What was your interviewing experience like at NWM (I've heard every position at NWM is super unique and offers a lot of flexibility to how you create your position)? I wanna better understand how NWM can create an awesome space for me to grow as an Accounting graduate can be.
- 100% Commission pay, and Residual
- 5-6K Bonus to start your career.
- 25 day reviews (hit the numbers, 1k bonus)
- Get your SIE, Series 6/liscense (another grand bonus)
- Academy: 1 week, basics of what you need to know (Software used, very low-level stuff.). Lots of joint work with mentors.
- Learning and all of that is all on you.

Interview:
- 1st Interview: Basic conversation (over-the-phone), get to know me.
- 2nd Interview: Actual Career talk
- 3rd Interview: Discovery Day (panel/virtual panel) - All about finding investment in the company and such.

2) I'm still really curious to understand better how I can do work that's similar to my profession (I.E. Accounting or Finance) with NWM/the position I apply for. Can I work on balance sheets, am I a part of financial planning & analysis, is there any way I can figure out how my work would be structured?
- You don't need a certain degree. They just require "a" degree. Be good at talking to people. Lots of analytical and talking with people.
- Interns do the role of a financial advisor.
- Hardest job you'll ever get to do. Perseverance will offer you lots of flexibility and you do your own work. People don't tell you what you have to do. 100% Commission. Meet lots of connections.
- #1 Financial company. Two companies to keep AAA rating during COVID: Microsoft and NWM
- Huge learning curve. Full-time training/academy (not as informative as the internship, but you still learn a lot as an FTE).
- Learn it and get out there to learn things needed.
- You establish your clientele "Warm calling".
- 1st year, less than 50% chance you'll stay.
- 2nd year, 75% you retire with NWM.
- Don't be scared if you're willing to take 100 nos to get 1 yes, potentially.
- You won't know if this is right for you until you go through it.
- Building relationships. It's okay to let people go.

3) NWM: What are they? Insurance Carrier or Brokerage?
- Brokerage, Carrier, BOTH!
- Nate is contracted by NWM, (works for himself, but can sell NWM products).
- Brokerage out to any company you'd like.

4) Do you recommend I look into certain things to give me a better idea as to how NWM works? Resources? People to talk with? Certain websites? Etc..
- It's gonna be so much different in the position than hearing about it. Give a shit about what you're doing.
