Notes

Basically, I came to class early to try and get the seat I used to get before the seating plan was made so that I could see (it is the one right in front of the board at the edge away from the teacher's desk), I needed to sit at this desk because the class I was in is different to the other classroom layouts and so I could not see the board from my seating plan seat (normally the board is in the centre of the wall at the front). So, I went in with my two friends who were also early and nobody but the teacher was in there. So I took my chance to ask to sit in another seat, elsewhere from my seating plan seat, and I said "Can I please sit up here [I go over to the desk] as it is next to a plug and I need to charge my laptop and also I can't see the board from my set seat in here." The teacher then goes to check the seating plan and then says no. I then tried to explain more how I *needed* to move in order to take part in the lesson and learn etc. She continued to shut me down. Then the rest of the class appeared and we all found issues with the layout and the seating plan and how they would work together. The teacher still refused to sort our issues. I then went on to ask if I could now move because the seat is free. She still said no.
The whole class even figured out a simple solution that would've solved all the issues so that pissed us all off.
Honestly, this school is a piss-take in general not going to lie.

Also, Real Quick - The reason the seating plan was made was to know that if someone showed signs of covid like symptoms then they could see the people around them and know then only they'd have to self isolate rather than the whole class. We chose where we sat on the seating plan so I liked my set seat.
