Will passage cells today. I want to seed two 100mm dishes at with 10 mL of cells at a density of 150,000 cells/mL.
AVIC: 10/2/2020
- MVICs are still growing.
- AVICs are now confluent. I will freeze down one plate and subculture the other plate into 2 T-150 flasks.
○ FREEZING AVICs
§ Cells will be frozen at minimum density of 1,000,000 cells/mL in FBS + 10% DMSO.
○ PASSAGING AVICs
§ Ideally, I will seed a T-150 with 20 mL media and cell density = 200,000 cells/mL.
Total cells for passaging = 8,000,000 cells.
